Danny Barrett is the assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach for the University of Buffalo. Danny Barrett joined the University of Buffalo for the 2007 football season and has become a fixture on the coaching staff since then. In charge of the offensive tone of the University of Buffalo Bulls football program, Danny Barrett works tirelessly to push the University of Buffalo Bulls roster into greatness.

Before coming to the University of Buffalo, Coach Danny Barrett played for the Calgary Stampeders, the Toronto Argonauts, the BC Lions, the Ottawa Rough Riders. After hanging up his quarterback jersey in the late 1990’s, Danny Barrett took on a new challenge of coaching and began his career from the sidelines with the Calgary Stampeders, he then coached for the BC Lions, and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. In early 2007, Coach Barrett turned down an offer from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to join the University of Buffalo Bulls football team. He now enjoys coaching the Bulls and looks forward to leading the quarterbacks again this season!
