Ernest Jones is the assistant head coach for the Buffalo Bulls football program.

In his first season, Jones coached a secondary that helped Buffalo rank second in the MAC in pass defense. Jones was the director of player services and running backs coach at Cincinatti in 2009 after spending the 2008 season at Alcorn State.
