The State University of New York-Buffalo Cheerleaders are a co-ed squad of college students. The UB Cheerleaders are pumped up year after year to cheer at their home football games, as well as at the men’s and women’s basketball games. Tryouts for the UB Cheerleading squad are rigorous and only accept the best. For a cheerleading squad to do well, they must have individual talent along with a tight-knit bond, which is exactly what the Buffalo Cheerleaders possess.

To promote the University at Buffalo and their beloved Buffalo Bulls football team, the UB Cheerleaders frequently participate in university functions, public relations events and community service projects. To create the best performance possible, the UB Cheerleaders work with the Buffalo Bulls marching band and pep band to really pump up the fans at events. As the talented squad that they are, the Buffalo Cheerleaders also compete regularly at the national level and have been placed in the top ten national team seven times.

The UB Cheerleader squad’s main goal is to generate enthusiasm and spirit for the Buffalo Bulls players and their fans. With a training and practicing continually through the year, The UB Cheerleaders are sure to put on a great show.
